Cry Translate has no sign-in and no user profile. Almost everything the app knows about you — your analysis history, your daily counter, your settings — lives only on your phone, and deleting the app or clearing its data removes all of it immediately. This page covers the one thing that is stored on our side and can be deleted on request: your referral data.
What can be deleted
- Your anonymous identifier. The random, opaque id the app creates for the referral feature. It has no name, email address, phone number, or password attached, and it is not connected to your Google account. It is also your invite code.
- Your referral records. The records noting that an install arrived from your invite code, and when.
Deleting them ends your participation in the referral programme: your invite code stops working, links you have already shared stop earning, and unlimited days you have not yet been credited are lost. Bonus days already credited to your phone are stored on the phone and are unaffected.
How to request deletion
In the app
Open Settings and tap Delete my referral data. The app deletes your referral record and your anonymous account straight away.
By email
Email admin@punnbaby.app from
any address, with the subject Data deletion, and include your
invite code — you will find it on the invite screen
in the app, and it is the last part of your invite link (the value after
referrer=r_). We need it because it is the only thing that
identifies your data; without it we have no way to tell which record is
yours.
We confirm and complete deletion within 30 days. There is no charge, and you do not need an account to ask.
What is deleted on your device
Uninstalling Cry Translate, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes everything the app stores locally: your analysis history, your daily counter, your settings, your bonus days, and any recording still queued for donation. None of that is held by us.
What cannot be deleted, and why
- Donated cry recordings. If you chose to share a recording to improve the AI, it was stored with no identifier of any kind — no name, no account, no device id. Because nothing links it to you, there is no way to find it afterwards, so a donated recording cannot be retrieved or deleted. You can stop all future donations at any time by choosing "Never share" in the app's settings, which also deletes any recording still waiting on your device.
- Purchase records. Purchases are held by Google Play (and Apple, on iOS) and by RevenueCat, our payments processor, for as long as needed to honour your purchase and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Manage purchases in your store account settings.
- Crash reports. Crash reports carry a random installation identifier and no personal details, and they are deleted automatically within 90 days.
